life, the future and goals x

Life.

I'm not too sure what it is recently, maybe the fact that I've now finally finished all of my exams, but I want to do more, I want to get out there and do stuff that maybe I'll regret, maybe not, but to properly live, to try everything.

I don't want to conform to what society expects; to go to school, college, university, to get a job, to get married, buy a house, have children and then die, and it's all over.

I want to break out of this expectation, and do new things, live a life that I'm proud of, that I know I've not wasted, that I won't have any regrets from because I tried and gave everything a go.

I want to travel the world, discover new places, little beaches, little coffee shops, make new friends, take millions and millions of pictures, I want to draw, to design, to do something that helps others, to be known as a good person, to be kind and helping, to live in Paris, maybe even multiple places, to work with Disney. I have such big dreams and I really really hope that one day I get to make them come true.

I get that I'm only 16 but it's now that we can start affecting our own lives and can begin to shape our future, and currently (unfortunately), this person I want to become, isn't me at all.
I'm always scared to try new things, terrified of the future, and what's to come, I care way too much what others think, and I do everything that's expected of a 16 year old.

All I want is to become a more confident, outgoing, courageous, happy person, and I feel I have to change and get into the mind set of that person.

It'd be fab if anyone else who feels like this could dm me on instagram (@ep_hemeral) or comment below, and leave me ideas of new things to try, places to go, recipes, maybe even quotes that make you smile!

Just don't go through life doing as others want you to, do what you want, choose what you want to study, what you want as your career, where you want to live, it's your life and you have the right to live it...
